World Cup Knockout Round Starts with USMNT vs. Netherlands
It could be another monumental day in the history of the U.S. men’s national soccer team as it looks to reach the quarterfinals at a World Cup for the first time since 2002. After that match, there’s a full day of college football conference championships to watch.
Here’s what I’ll be watching.
MUST WATCH:
Men’s World Cup: USMNT vs. the Netherlands
Christian Pulisic’s first-half goal against Iran was enough to push the United States through to the knockout stage where they’ll face the winners of Group A, the Netherlands. The Dutch squad came into the tournament as the favorites in its group and took care of business with wins over Senegal and Qatar, along with a draw against Ecuador.
