Nuggets, Grizzlies Battle at Top of Western Conference
Happy Friday! Any March weekend means plenty of high-level college basketball, and today we’ve got several ranked women’s college hoops matchups with conference tournaments in full swing. But our main event of the evening is in the NBA, where the Nuggets are looking to hold onto the top spot in the West against the surging Grizzlies. Plus, KD will make his second appearance in a Suns uniform, this time on the road against the Bulls.
Here’s what I’m watching today.
MUST WATCH:
Memphis Grizzlies at Denver Nuggets
This is the second meeting since the All-Star break between these top contenders in the Western Conference. Memphis dominated the first meeting, leading by as many as 35 in a 112–94 rout. Even with that result, Denver has still opened up a five-game lead on the Grizzlies for the No. 1 seed in the West, so Memphis’s hopes of securing that top spot are dwindling. Can Ja Morant outduel Nikola Jokić again tonight? Or will Denver strengthen its hold on No. 1?
