World Cup 2022: How to Watch, Schedule, Bracket and Results
The 2022 FIFA World Cup will kick off Nov. 20.

It’s been an eventful four years since the last World Cup was held, and now the contest is right around the corner. This year, for the first time ever, the tournament is not being held in May, June or July. The change was made because of host nation Qatar’s intense summer heat.
The 32 challengers start play the week of Nov. 20, and the tournament will last 29 days.
The USMNT punched its way to the knockout stage on Tuesday with a 1-0 win over Iran, after tying both Wales and England in its first two games. The U.S. will now face the Netherlands on Saturday in the round of 16.
