How to Watch Lionel Messi and Inter Miami Online: Stream Live, Channels
When it was announced that Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi would be departing Paris Saint-Germain after just two somewhat tumultuous seasons in France, not many could have expected his next destination would be in America to join Major League Soccer's Inter Miami. Not with his former club, soccer giants FC Barcelona, calling, and not with the Saudi Arabian league reportedly offering the reigning World Cup champion nearly $400 million per season to head to the Middle East. And yet, the seemingly impossible happened and Messi chose Inter Miami, at least in part thanks to MLS, Apple and Adidas teaming up to entice him with proposals that will pay him far more than just his player salary. Apple is reportedly offering Messi a share of the revenue generated from new subscribers to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV+.

Meanwhile, Adidas is reportedly offering Messi a profit-sharing agreement that would allow the Argentine forward to receive a cut of any increase in Adidas' profit from his involvement in MLS, according to a report from The Athletic.
How to watch Messi and Inter Miami online
For those unaware, MLS is almost exclusively being streamed on Apple TV+ through MLS Season Pass, with the majority of Inter Miami's games this season set to take place on that streaming platform.
However, Inter Miami does have one game remaining on the national TV schedule for 2023, and that's the Sept. 24 matchup with in-state rival Orlando City, which will take place on FOX Sports 1, available to stream for free, live on Fubo.
What's more, certain Leagues Cup games - a newly formed tournament that will now feature every MLS and Liga MX club - will be available to stream off of traditional TV channels, including the July 21 matchup between Inter Miami and historic Liga MX side Cruz Azul. The Athletic reported that matchup to be a potential debut game for Messi as an Inter Miami player.
That game will be available to watch in Spanish on UniMás, also available to stream for free and live on Fubo.

For now, those are the only surefire ways to catch Messi's upcoming Inter Miami career without Apple TV+ and MLS Season Pass. However, just like MLS fiddled with the rules to offer Messi a competitive contract to join the top domestic soccer league in the United States, there's a chance that more upcoming Inter Miami games find their way onto traditional television.
If that does prove to be the case, national TV MLS games are set to be streamed on FOX, FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2, all of which can be found on Fubo. A free trial awaits you if you are interested in watching Messi's Inter Miami career, set to begin as soon as the summer of 2023.
