The UFC returns to the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada tonight for a loaded card of contenders facing off including seventh-ranked middleweight Sean Strickland (26-5) who is looking for his second straight win when he takes on Abus Magomedov (25-4-1) who is making his 2023 debut. Strickland battled back after a December 2018 motorcycle accident to win seven of his next nine bouts, most recently a decision victory over Nassourdine Inavov in January of 2023. In the co-main event, American Grant Dawson (19-1) puts his undefeated UFC mark on the line against Damir Ismagulov (24-2) in a lightweight bout.

Magomedov is fighting in only his second bout since December 2020 after having five fights canceled in the last 18 months. In his UFC debut in September of 2022, Magomedo secured a first-round knockout of Dustin Stoltzfus in just 19 seconds earning him a Performance of the Night bonus.
In other action Michael Morales (14-0) looks for his third straight knockout win when he takes on Max Griffin (19-9) in a welterweight bout, Brazilian women’s flyweight Melissa Gatto (8-1-2) tries to rebound from her first pro loss as she steps into the octagon with Ariane Lipski (15-8), and undefeated middleweight Brunno Ferreira (10-0) faces Nursulton Ruziboev (34-8-2).
