After back-to-back wins, Cory Sandhagen (16-4) headlines a loaded card as he takes on Rob Font (20-6) in the main event of tonight’s UFC Fight Night from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Sandhagen was originally scheduled to fight bantamweight contender Umar Nurmagomedov. However, due to a shoulder injury sustained in training, Nurmagomedov was forced to withdraw and was replaced by Font in mid-July. In the co-main event, veteran strawweight Jessica Andrade (24-11) aims to snap a two-fight losing skid when she steps into the octagon to face 10th-ranked and undefeated Tatiana Suarez (9-0) in only her second fight after a three-and-a-half-year hiatus.

Sandhagen made his UFC debut in 2018 winning his first three bouts inside the distance including a fight of the night performance bonus in his return to bantamweight when he knocked out Iuri Alcântara one minute into the second round. After losing to Petr Yan for the interim UFC bantamweight belt, Sandhagen earned a TKO victory over Song Yadong and then took home a split decision win over Marlon Vera back in March.
In other action, Dustin Jacoby (18-7-1) faced Kennedy Nzechukwu (12-3) in a light heavyweight bout as “The African Savage” aims for his fourth straight win.
Featherweight Gavin Tucker (13-2) looks to rebound after his first loss since 2017 when he faces Diego Lopes (21-6), Tanner Boser (20-10-1) looks for his second win in his last six bouts when he takes on Aleksa Camur (6-2), and Ignacio Bahamondes (14-4) goes for his fourth straight win battling Ludovit Klein (19-4-1) in a lightweight tilt.
