Tonight, we don't have the most exciting NCAAB slate of all time, as a lot of great games went down over the weekend. However, our experts picked out two great games with ranked teams involved.
First, we examine Miami vs. North Carolina. The Miami Hurricanes hit the road and visit a hostile environment in Chapel Hill, where the 21-6 UNC Tar Heels look to continue their dominance heading into March Madness. They’re currently ranked #10 in the nation, and they’ve won their last two games after a disappointing loss to Syracuse a few games ago. These teams squared off just a couple of weeks ago in a UNC 75-72 victory at Miami. This time around, the Tar Heels are on their home floor, and hopefully shooting the ball better than their last meeting.
The Miami Hurricanes are currently on a six-game slide, and our experts do not see that coming to an end tonight against this spectacular UNC squad. RJ Davis has been playing fantastic for the Tar Heels, averaging 21 points per game, and we think he could easily have a big night tonight. The spread seems large, but we’re confidently laying the points with the better team here. Our official pick is North Carolina -13.5 (-115 at BetMGM) ✔️.
Next, we point our attention to Baylor vs. TCU, to close out our college basketball best bets for tonight. The last time these teams met, TCU beat the Bears in overtime. Currently, Baylor is on a two-game losing streak as they look to get back on track ASAP. This feels like a very important spot for #11-ranked Baylor, who will drop right down the rankings with a loss in this spot.
TCU is a good, well-rounded team, but our experts believe Baylor is the tougher and deeper squad. If there’s any way to show their toughness, it would be a statement win on the road over this Horned Frogs group that took them down in OT in January in their own gym.
Baylor tends to spread their scoring out, as Ja’Kobe Walter leads the scoring with just 14.7 points per game. We expect a team effort on both ends from the Bears, as this feels like somewhat of a must-win game heading into the month of March.
