The Kansas Jayhawks are in the Elite Eight after their win over the Providence Friars on Friday, and face the Miami Hurricanes for a chance to win a National Title in New Orleans.

Kansas entered the NCAA Tournament with a ranking of #3 in both polls and are the 1st seed in the Midwest Region. They are the highest ranked team and the only 1st seed remaining in the Tournament. Miami is unranked.

This is the fifth meeting between these two teams. The Jayhawks are 3-1 in the series, with Kansas winning the last meeting on January 16th, 1991. Kansas is 53-41 against ACC opponents.
