Former Mississippi State cornerback Cameron Dantzler was a key player in the Houston Texans' 17-13 win over the New Orleans Saints in Caesars Superdome on Sunday evening.

While the Saints threatened to make a comeback in the final minutes of a game that came down to the wire, Dantzler came down with the game-sealing interception at the Houston 21-yard line.

The pass from Saints rookie quarterback Jake Haener was originally intended for tight end Lucas Krull as the pair had established a great deal of chemistry that was apparent in the last two drives of the contest to a fault that played out in the Texans' favor.

Here's a look at the play by Dantzler:

He finished out the game with 3 solo tackles to go with the pick off of Haener. Heading into the fourth year of his NFL career, Dantzler totals 125 solo tackles, 24 assists, 17 pass breakups, 3 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries.

How Dantzler continues to contribute to the secondary after catching some additional attention this preseason will be something to keep an eye on.
