Missouri Kickoff Time Announced Ahead of Georgia Game

Knowing that it could be a big Saturday in the Southeastern Conference, CBS had long ago opted to broadcast a doubleheader on Nov. 4.
It didn't know how good of a decision that was until the past few days. With both divisions having showdowns between top teams in the standings, the pairing for the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta could all but be set after Week 10.
No. 16 Missouri will kick off the high-profile twin-bill with its game at No. 1 Georgia set for 2:30 p.m. CT.
Heading into its bye this weekend, the Tigers are 7-1, and 3-1 in league play. The two-time reigning champions are 7-0, 4-0 in league play, and play other second-place team in the division, Florida, on Saturday. Coming off a bye, the Bulldogs could play four ranked opponents over the next four weeks.
The nightcap on Nov. 4 will be LSU at Alabama, which could decide the SEC West. The Saban Bowl will kick off off at 6:45 p.m. CT. The Crimson Tide lost in overtime last season 32-31.
The other SEC games that will be played on Nov. 4:
Texas A&M at No. 12 Ole Miss, 11 a.m. ESPN
UConn at No. 21 Tennessee, 11 a.m. SEC Network
Arkansas at Florida, 11 a.m., ESPN2
Kentucky at Mississippi St., 6:30 p.m., SEC Network
Jacksonville State at South Carolina, 11 a.m. ESPNU
Auburn at Vanderbilt, 3 p.m., SEC Network
Both high-profile SEC games could attract the national pregame shows. Unless something changes after this upcoming weekend, the only other matchup between two ranked teams on Nov. 4 will likely be No. 5 Washington at No. 24 Southern California. No. 14 Notre Dame is also at Clemson, but the Tigers are 4-3. The game previously announced for ABC, will now be on ABC or ESPN opposite the early CBS game at 2:30 p.m.
