Pitt DT Calijah Kancey Exceeds Expectations in Combine Measurements

INDIANAPOLIS -- Pitt Panthers defensive tackle Calijah Kancey got his week at the NFL Combine off to a good start. He exceeded expectations at both his weigh in and in the 40-yard dash, the first scouting event of the week on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Kancey checked in at 6'1 and 281 pounds. He is an inch taller than his listed height from college and a pound heavier than what he weighed at Pitt. Kacney's arms, however, were short - just 30 5/8 inches - and his hands measured 9 1/8 inches across.
But despite adding a little bit of weight, Kancey moved well in his first 40-yard dash attempt. He clocked a time of 4.79 - the best of any defensive linemen to that point in the afternoon.
