Pitt Offers Three-Star PF Matthew Hodge

The Pitt Panthers could add another member to their 2024 recruiting class.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers added another name to their 2024 recruiting board over the weekend, spots in which will be limited given how many underclassmen they are expected to return next season.

Matthew Hodge, a three-star power forward out of St. Rose High School in Belmar, New Jersey, picked up his latest offer from Jeff Capel and the Panthers, he announced on Twitter.

At 6'8 and 200 pounds, Hodge would give the Panthers some depth and muscle on the wings and in the post. He's rated as a three-star prospect by On3 and Rivals. Hodge is ranked as high as the No. 5 player in New Jersey (On3) while Rivals considers him the No. 20 power forward in the class of 2024.

Hodge holds offers from Florida State, Virginia, Alabama, Villanova, Marquette, Temple St. Bonaventure, Davidson, Northern Iowa, Penn State, Monmouth, Maryland, Seton Hall, Virginia Tech and Old Dominion.
