Gamecock Target Logan Diggs Announces His Decision
Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks have had a lot of good news on the transfer portal front in the past week or so, as they landed commitments from Syracuse transfer edge rusher Jatius Geer and Charlotte transfer offensive lineman Jaxon Hughes, both of whom partly help to address positions of need. On Tuesday, however, South Carolina's latest run of transfer commits came to an end, as portal target and former Notre Dame running back Logan Diggs, announced his commitment to the LSU Tigers via social media.
Diggs is a Louisiana native whom the Gamecocks went all-out for in his his recruitment, hosting him for a visit two weekends ago. The connections, however, that Logan had to the Pelican State, along with his former head coach at Notre Dame Brian Kelly now holding the same position at LSU, seemed to win the day for the Tigers, who'll look to make an SEC title run in 2023.
