USC Star Freshman Inks Two NIL Deals Ahead of Rivalry Game

Zachariah Branch adds Perfect Hydration and Honey Stinger to his growing portfolio

USC freshman wide receiver/kick returner Zachariah Branch has burst onto the scene this year becoming the first Pac-12 player since Christian McCaffrey to score a rushing, receiving, kick and punt return touchdown in the same season.

Although the Trojans are heading into their crosstown rivalry game versus UCLA this weekend with a disappointing 7-4 record and out of the Pac-12 championship race, Branch has been a bright spot both on and off the field.

One of the most explosive and dynamic players in the country, Branch has USC fans optimistic about the future in Los Angeles and the comparisons to a former Heisman winner began as soon as the true freshman touched the field for the first time.

In USC's season-opener against San Jose State, the 19-year-old debuted with 232 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, including a 96-yard kickoff return that was eerily reminiscent of Trojan great Reggie Bush.

It is no surprise that national brands have already jumped at the opportunity to partner with Branch - represented by Excel Sports Management - and he is already positioned to be a top NIL earners in the years to come.

This week alone, Branch announced partnerships via Instagram collab posts with water company Perfect Hydration and sports nutrition brand Honey Stinger, adding to his growing NIL portfolio.

Although under coach Lincoln Riley, freshman aren't allowed to speak to the media, Branch and his team at Excel have continued to build the Trojan star's personal brand through additional partnerships with the likes of Panini, C4 Energy, among others, and he is just getting started.

Branch and USC host UCLA Saturday at 3:30PM ET on ABC.
