Look: Two Cincinnati Reds Make MLB Top 100 Ahead of 2024 Season
CINCINNATI — Elly De La Cruz and Matt McLain made the cut. Both young stars made the MLB top 100 after helping the Reds finish 82-80 last season.
De La Cruz was ranked No. 100 and McLain was ranked No. 99.
Both players are building blocks for the present and the future. They helped fuel a young Reds team that exceeded expectations last season. They're also a big reason why there's pre-spring training playoff talk in Cincinnati.
De La Cruz and McLain flashed their potential last season, but the Reds will need them to take a step forward if they're going to make a postseason run in 2024.
