Cincinnati Reds Reliever Making Progress, Will Start Rehab Assignment in Triple-A
This is good news for the left-hander.
CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Reds left-hander Sam Moll will start a rehab assignment in Triple-A Louisville, the team made announced on Friday.
Moll has been dealing with a shoulder issue. He threw in Wednesday's team scrimmage and is clearly trending in the right direction.
The 32 year old appeared in two spring training games for the Reds. He was on the mound for 25 contests last season, allowing just 13 hits and two runs in 24 2/3 innings. Moll gives the Reds another proven arm that they can rely on out of the bullpen.
