Chargers Notes: Defense Under Fire, Keenan Allen Keeps Making History

Top stories from the Bolts!

Despite some questionable late-game calls... again, Brandon Staley seemed fired up in the locker room after the Chargers beat the Vikings on Sunday. I mean how can you not be excited when your defense makes a huge goal-line stop to end the game? Despite the win, the Chargers still have a lot of work to do, and it'll be harder without their WR2.

The Chargers running game has been missing a key piece for a couple of weeks now, and you can definitely tell his absence has taken a big toll on the overall offensive output. That "questionable" play call on 4th and 1 on their own 24-yard-line against the Vikings would've made a little more sense if the Bolts could've handed the ball off to one of the best backs in the league.
