Marvin Harrison Jr. Skips NFL Combine Training
Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is widely regarded as perhaps the best overall player in the entire 2024 NFL Draft class, but you won't find him on the field during this week's NFL Scouting Combine.
In fact, Harrison hasn't been training for the combine at all, and unlike most prospects who skip combine drills, it doesn't look like he'll be performing at the Buckeyes' subsequent pro day workout either.
Instead, Harrison has been hard at work preparing himself for his first NFL season, instead of for the various drills the combine throws at prospects every year, according to MMQB's Albert Breer:
The star wide receiver will still in Indianapolis to meet with teams this week, but it looks like he'll let his play do the talking later this summer, once he's actually in an NFL camp.
Harrison has little to prove on the field, as his near-flawless film will show NFL scouts everything they need to know about what he brings to the table. The son of a Hall of Fame wide receiver, Harrison has the talent and polish to make an immediate impact at the next level, and doesn't seem to be interested in wasting his time preparing for combine drills instead of focusing on the actual football that lies ahead of him.
