Summer deal season is in full swing, with July 4th just behind us and Amazon Prime Day less than a week away. It’s a time to splurge on some big tech, grab some fun things for around the house, and, more critically, score some gadgets that can make your life easier.
That’s exactly what a robot vacuum can do, and this slim Eufy model boasts over 45,000 five-star ratings on Amazon. It’s smart with plenty of suction power, and right now it’s deeply discounted by 39% ahead of Prime Day. You can score it for just shy of $140 in black and $150 in white.
While that price might put it in the budget range, Amazon shoppers love this thing for its mix of features and the value it delivers. One shopper said it “kicks my $1,000 smart vacuum in the butt!”
Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S Slim, $140 (was $230) at Amazon
Like most robot vacuum cleaners, Eufy’s Boost IQ RoboVac 11S Slim is a circle roughly 13 inches in diameter with wheels on the bottom and a set of sensors that let it navigate your home.
Since this is the slim edition, it bests competing vacuum cleaners by standing at just 2.85 inches tall. That gives it enough clearance to fit under most household objects, like appliances and even low-to-the-ground couches. It’s also about the height of a baseball.
And in terms of runtime, Eufy promises up to 100 minutes per full charge, and in some cases, that will be enough to clean your whole home. The RoboVac 11S will even return home to its charging base when it needs to refuel. It also has plenty of space to hold dirt and debris with a 0.6-liter tank that can easily be dumped directly into a garbage bin.
While this won’t map your home, the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11s uses a back-and-forth method, which aims to clean better than the common zig-zag. With this, it aims to cover more ground, starting at a random point each time. Eufy says this is proven to better clean and room over a regular pattern. You can also control the 11S through on-device buttons or the included remote control.
One Amazon shopper who left a five-star review noted that they’ve been using the BoostIQ RoboVac 11S Slim for roughly three and a half years: “There are two adults and four teens in my house, plus two cats. I know it works because the dang debris bin is completely full of hair, dust and crud every single day; that's why I'm so happy with it.”
Sure, there has been some preventive maintenance along the way and brush replacement, but the core of this robot vacuum cleaner keeps on ticking. It’s rated to clean all surfaces, from carpet to hardwood, with tile and laminate in between. Regardless of the surface, it uses up to 1,300pa of suction for a strong clean that can knock out even caked-on debris.
It also uses dueling sets of brushes on the main sides of the cleaner to push in and suck up debris. One five-star reviewer noted, "its edge cleaning mode is fantastic” and even picked up clumped-up hair and lint that accumulated along baseboards. The additional brushes gives this a leg up over the competition.
Whether you’ve been waiting to score a robot vacuum to lighten the chore load or have an aging model that isn’t as powerful as it once was, now’s the time to consider an upgrade. You can score Eufy’s BoostIQ RoboVac 11S Slim for just $140 on Amazon here.
