Samsung unveiled its latest family of TVs including some major upgrades to Neo QLED and OLED in January, and now Samsung is taking orders for one model. More specifically, the largest OLED that Samsung has made.

The 77-inch S95C is up for order at $4,499.99 and appears to be shipping fairly quickly. To sweeten the deal, Samsung is tossing in free installation if you order by Feb. 20.

Let’s unpack Samsung’s latest OLED.

Make no mistake about it, Samsung’s largest OLED is a pricey model that is best for folks who want a pristine viewing experience. What sets a part an OLED is the fact that each pixel is self emitting, which offers tighter control over creating a visual. For instance, you could have an extreme pop of color right next to complete darkness, and not notice any blooming or leakage. Samsung’s spin on this is using Quantum Dot technology—specifically it being a Quantum HDR+ OLED—for punchier colors, something we’ve seen Sony adopt as well.

Considering it isn’t backlit (meaning there aren’t hundreds of mini LEDs behind the panel) it’s best for spaces where you have control over the light. Those who need a picture to battle extreme sunlight will be better served by a QLED or Neo QLED. Samsung’s latest in that department will launch later in 2023, but you can currently save on the still excellent 2022 models.

Still though, OLED is about delivering the best picture possible. With the S95C model that starts with thinner bezels all around which let you focus directly on the visuals itself. For 2023, Samsung is promising increased brightness—up to 2,000 nits, a unit of measurement for brightness—which will allow each pixel pop a bit more and contribute to a more vibrant picture. Of course, those extreme contrast points will still be full throttle here.

Powering all of this is Samsung’s Neural Quantum Processor which is kind of like the conductor controlling an orchestra. This handles how the content looks and adjusts it in real time to your space, but also supports upscaling content up to full 4K resolution. The 77-inch S95C is a pretty massive TV and will be the centerpiece of your home entertainment setup. It’s also the largest OLED that Samsung has ever offered and the flagship of this TV line. Later this year, Samsung will launch a 55-inch and 65-inch version of this TV.

The 77-inch S95C sports a 144Hz refresh rate and comes out of the box with Samsung’s Tizen interface. This gives you access to a range of streaming services—just remember the login—and some that are specific to Samsung TVs. Gamers will be excited to know that Xbox Game Pass streaming is built-in here as well.

Samsung’s brand new 77-inch S95C OLED is up for order now at $4,499.99.

Those looking for a smaller sized OLED can consider the 2022 55-inch, which is down to $1,299.99.
