It wouldn’t be summer without a few new devices from Samsung, and like clockwork, the technology giant just made its next event official. The next Galaxy Unpacked is set for July 26, 2023, at an early 7 AM ET.
If the teaser on the invite is to be believed, it’s pretty clear that we’re getting the next generation of foldables from Samsung. They are likely the successors to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Samsung is already letting you reserve whatever will be launching at Galaxy Unpacked, and you’ll score an exclusive $50 credit to put towards the new device (or devices). Best of all, it’s free in terms of money and commitment.
How to Reserve Ahead of Samsung’s July 26 Galaxy Unpacked?
Simply head over to the Reserve page and fill out your first and last name and contact information, like a phone number and email address. It’s entirely commitment-free, but everyone who reserves will score a $50 credit. It’s a good idea for anyone to sign up, even if you’re only a little bit interested in Samsung’s new foldable, as it can be used to make them more affordable or towards an accessory.
We can also gather that Samsung has a few new devices as the reserve is for several, ranging from phones to tablets or watches. You’ll also be first in line to preorder and score the exclusive credit, which can be stacked with other offers when formal ordering rolls around.
Last August, Samsung dropped the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Galaxy Watch 5, and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. We’re almost positive that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 with improved performance, enhanced durability, and better imaging power. This way, you can capture an epic portrait, your favorite all-star at a sporting event in a portrait video, or just a Space Zoom shot to impress on Instagram.
Safe to say, both will be feature-filled devices that will impress, and Samsung is hoping to steer folks away from the increasingly competitive foldable market. Remember, Motorola just launched the Razr+ to compete with the Z Flip, and Google dropped the Pixel Fold, similar to the Z Fold.
We also expect Samsung to refresh its Galaxy Watch family with a few new options that sport a fresher, more durable design and a larger feature set. Similarly, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab family is due for a refresh, especially as Google’s brand-new Pixel Tablet opens up the Android tablet space.
Still, if you can’t wait till July 26 and are after a folding phone, Samsung is offering two excellent deals on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. The phone and tablet 2-in-1 is $250 off at $1,550, and you can save an additional $900 with an eligible device trade-in. That could bring the flagship foldable's cost to as little as $650.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is $150 off at $950, and with a device trade-in, you can get up to an additional $550 off. That brings the total cost down to just $450 for a device in various fun colors.
