After a terrific first game of the Overtime Elite Finals RWE (1-0) look to jump out to a potentially insurmountable lead over City Reapers (0-1). In game one RWE won 77-69 in a game that went back-and-forth between the teams all the way until the end. The finals bring the best out of teams and it did just that for RWE. Karter Knox led the way with 26 points going 8-19 from the field. Knox is the top-ranked high school player in the Overtime Elite program, ranked 24th in the Class of 2024 with scholarship offers from the top schools in the country all trying to lure him away from turning professional.

This season Knox is leading all scorers in the playoffs with 24.2 points per game. He has scored at least 15 points in all five games including two 30-point performances to lead RWE to the finals.
RWE also had Daquan Davis (19 points, seven rebounds and five assists) and Peyton Marshall (11 points and seven rebounds) score in double-figures in the win. That balance around Knox makes RWE one of the most dangerous teams in the Overtime Elite this season and here in the finals.
For the City Reapers, they had four different players score in double-figures led by Jaeden Mustaf with 15 points, six assists and four rebounds in the loss. They are going to need a stronger offensive effort to bounce back and even the finals today.
