They entered the tournament in the quarterfinals with a matchup against Missouri State. They won 75-59 with Ryan Conwell taking over scoring 20 points to lead the team. Yesterday, they played Northern Iowa in a semifinal matchup that wasn't even close winning by 22 points. Robbie Avila finished with 21 points while Conwell had 20 points against with 13 rebounds and four assists in the team's only double-double.

Advancing to the semifinals, they took on Bradley yesterday and beat them by just five points 72-67. Atin Wright led Drake last night with 20 points. DeVries had 17 points with six rebounds and four assists.
