The team is currently on a three-game win streak with the most recent being an 88-78 win over Long Beach State in the season finale last weekend. Kane Milling led the team in scoring with 24 points while Ty Johnson and Elijah Pepper joined him in double digits with 18 and 17 points, respectively. Milling also led on the boards with five rebounds in the win.

The Rainbow Warriors made it through to the semifinal round after beating seventh-seeded Cal State Northridge in a 75-68 victory. Justin McKoy was the leading scorer for Hawaii in the win, finishing with 16 points. Bernardo de Silva and Noel Coleman were right behind McKoy with 14 and 12 points, respectively. De Silva narrowly missed a double-double in the win with a team-high nine rebounds.
When UC Davis and Hawaii met during regular season play, the Aggies earned a 75-63 win at home.
