The Blue Hose finished the season with a 20-14 record and an 8-8 record against conference teams in the Big South. They opened up conference tournament play with a quarterfinal win over Charleston Southern by just three points on the back of 18 points from Tilda Sjokvist. They then beat High Point by nine points in the semifinals with another 19 points from Sjokvist. Finally, taking on Radford in the conference championship, they won by almost 30 points in a domination 60-37. This time, Bryanna Brady led the team in scoring with 21 points.

The Pioneers made their way into the tournament winning the Northeast Conference. They finished 24-9 overall this season and 15-1 against conference teams. They opened up their tournament with a win over St. Francis (PA) by 30 points with 23 points from Ny'Ceara Pryor.
That led to a semifinal matchup against Merrimack where they won by 32 points and again Pryor had 28 to lead the team. In the conference final, they proved no one was a match, winning by 21 points against Le Moyne with Pryor having 18 points.
