On Saturday night, No. 2 Stanford will finish play at the Pac-12 South Invitational with a match against Oregon. The Ducks will look to pick up its first win of tournament play after dropping its opening match to No. 1 UCLA on Saturday morning in a 5-0 defeat. Four of the five games were decided in two sets with only Natasha George and Bella Gamache's game going to three sets after they earned a 21-19 win in the first set before dropping the second set 21-15 and the third 15-4. The loss on Saturday morning brought the team's overall record to 1-7 and their losing streak to four matches.

The Cardinal started off the Pac-12 Invitational on a high note yesterday when the team took down No. 1 UCLA 3-2 in its opening match. The celebrating was short-lived as the team went on to drop its second matchup against No. 10 Arizona State in a 3-2 defeat. Emma Morris and Daria Gusarova along with Chloe Hoffman and Kate Reilly were the two pairs who won games in the loss to the Sun Devils, winning both in straight sets. The three losses were all pushed to a third set in which the pairs each came up short to suffer the team's first conference loss of the season and second loss of the year.
