On Friday afternoon, Northeastern will host No. 22 Drexel for the final CAA game in regular season play ahead of the conference tournament. The Huskies come into Friday's game with an overall record of 8-8 and a conference record of 3-2 for a spot in fourth place. As things stand, the team will make it through to the tournament but would be in a much better position with a win against Drexel. The team is on a two-game win streak with the most recent coming against Maine in a non-conference battle that resulted in a 2-1 victory. Ashley Pappas and Lauren Rowe each netted a goal to lead the team to a win.

The Dragons are just above the Huskies in the standings with a 3-2 record in conference play and an overall record of 12-5. The team's most recent game was played against cross-town rival Villanova and resulted in a big 4-1 win. Natali Foster scored her 10th goal of the season to give Drexel an early lead just two minutes in. Tina Rawa followed two minutes later with her first of the year. The Wildcats beat the goalie in the 35th minute, but that would be the only time. Pien Elsen and Val Van Hellemont rounded out the scoring for the Dragons to secure another victory.
When Northeastern and Drexel met last season, the Huskies picked up a 1-0 win. The team will look to do the same thing on Friday to honor its seniors on Senior Day.
