The Tar Heels are right behind Duke in the conference standings with an ACC record of 4-1 and an overall record of 11-3. UNC scored two second-quarter goals to take a 2-0 lead into halftime, but Virginia found the back of the net three times in the second half to hand UNC its loss in ACC play.
