How to Watch East Lake Cup, First Round: Stream College Golf Live, TV Channel

The East Lake Cup is back for the ninth annual playing of the tournament from the Atlanta Athletic Club in Atlanta, Georgia. There are eight teams in the field this season featuring Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and North Carolina in the men’s field along with Southern California, Stanford, Texas A&M and Wake Forest. All of the teams get started today with stroke play, followed by match-play for the semifinals tomorrow and then match-play again in the finals on Wednesday along with the consolation matches. This is one of the biggest and most important events on the college golf calendar for teams, with all eight schools invited looking to come out on top as champions.

Last season the Gators won the men’s National Championship and the Demon Deacons won the women’s National Championship and are a part of this field.

In this event last year Vanderbilt and Auburn won the men’s and women’s events at the 2022 East Lake Cup. Neither are in the field this year, leaving Illinois as the only team to win the men’s event in back-to-back years and the Trojans for the women.

The Illini won the first two East Lake Cup tournaments back in 2015 and 2016 while the Trojans won in 2017 and 2018. The Trojans also won this event in 2015 as the only school to win three East Lake Cup events. They go for their fourth championship starting today.
