Michigan State will look to repeat as regular season champions on Friday night with a top finish at the Big Five Meet.

On Friday night, the first Big Five Meet in the Big Ten will take place when No. 23 Nebraska, No. 15 Minnesota, No. 45 Rutgers, No. 14 Ohio State and No. 8 Michigan State square off in State College, Pennsylvania. The Scarlet Knights are currently in last place in the Big Ten standings with a conference record of 0-5 and an overall record of 5-9. The Cornhuskers are right in the middle of the pack with a spot in fifth place with a Big Ten record of 3-2 and an overall record of 5-4. The Buckeyes are just ahead of Nebraska with an overall record of 4-2 and a conference record of 4-1 this season.

Michigan State and Minnesota are at the top of the Big Ten standings with the Gophers sitting in second place with a record of 4-1 and the Spartans taking the top spot with a perfect Big Ten record of 5-0. The Spartans enter Friday's meet with a program best ranking of No. 8 and will look to repeat as Big Ten regular season champions and finish the season with the only undefeated record in the Big Ten.
