UCLA and Stanford will look to break their respective losing streaks when they meet on Friday night in Pac-12 gymnastics action.

Only two dual meets remain in the Pac-12 regular season and on Friday night, No. 24 Stanford hosts No. 10 UCLA in the penultimate meet of conference competition. The Cardinal is currently in seventh place in the Pac-12 standings with a conference record of 1-4 and an overall record of 1-8. The team has dropped its last three meets with the most recent being a 198.075-196.625 defeat by No. 4 Utah. Fifth-year Chloe Widner brought home a share of the beam title with a career-best tying score of 9.975 while junior Brenna Neault won the all-around title with a score of 39.175. Despite strong performances around the gym, the Cardinal could not compete with the strength of the Utes.

The Bruins come into Friday night's dual meet with an overall record of 5-9 and a conference record of 3-2 for a spot in fourth place in the Pac-12 standings. The team has lost its last two meets with the latest being a 198.400-197.775 loss to No. 3 Cal. The team hist 24-for-24 routines, but the Golden Bears pulled out all the stops for a program-record score of 198.400. The Bruins' top performer on the day was impressive as junior Emily Lee scored career-highs of 9.95 on beam and 9.9 on vault and floor. Senior Chae Campbell scored a career-high 9.95 on bars and received a 10 from one of the judges. The team is peaking at just the right point in the season as postseason competition is right around the corner. 

The last meet between Stanford and UCLA was last season and resulted in a 196.550-196.100 win for the Bruins.
