The Cardinals are 18-9 overall this season, but got off to a rough start in ACC play and have a conference record of 0-3 after being swept by Virginia Tech last weekend. The team's most recent game resulted in a 12-4 victory over Michigan in five innings on Saturday. Gabby Holloway had a big day for the Cardinals with two home runs for five RBI while Riley Frizell also had a two-run homer in the third inning. Alyssa Zabala improved to 11-3 on the season with the win as she pitched four innings and struck out one batter.
