On Sunday night, No. 14 Clemson will host UNC at McWhorter Stadium for the final game of the teams' ACC series. The Tar Heels come into Sunday's game with an overall record of 20-6 and an ACC record of 2-3 so far. The team dropped the first two games of the series to the Tigers in a 5-0 loss on Friday and a 4-1 loss on Saturday. In yesterday's loss, the Tar Heels outhit the Tigers 6-5, but struggled to bring runs home due to the strong defensive play of Clemson. The team's only run came from the bat of Carlie Myrtle with a single to left field in the second to score Kayla Lee. Kenna Raye Dark pitched a complete game in the circle and struck out four batters.

The Tigers have found success this season and are currently 20-6 overall with an ACC record of 4-1 so far. In yesterday's win, Clemson made use of some of their hard hitters to earn the win. McKenzie Clark hit a solo shot in the first inning to put the Tigers in the lead. In the second inning, Grace Hiller doubled to right field to score Maddie Moore. In the sixth, Moore hit a triple to bring home Alex Brown and secure the win for the Tigers.
