This is a match-up of teams that were not expected to be here after the top seeds in each of their brackets were eliminated along the way to the finals today.

Wizards District Gaming moved on to the finals after a win over Knicks Gaming in a best-of-three series:
In the semifinals, Wizards District Gaming defeated Knicks Gaming 2-1 in their three-game series after falling down after the first game losing 56-86. From there they won the next two games 57-50 and 68-55 to advance to the finals.
They also defeated the Gen.G Tigers 2-0 in the first round by a total of 19 points.
On the other side for Bucks Gaming, they defeated Mavs Gaming 2-0 in the first round by a total margin of 28 points and then Warriors Gaming Squad 2-1 in the next round after falling down 0-1 and their backs being pushed against the wall.
In the semifinals they took care of T-Wolves Gaming, the favorite to win it all 2-1 with two games decided by five or fewer points.
