One of those teams is the Memphis Showboats (5-4), who take on the first-place Birmingham Stallions (7-2) on Saturday night at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee. Memphis needs a win to keep its playoff hopes alive, and then would need the Houston Gamblers to beat the New Orleans Breakers on Sunday night to create a three-way tie for second place and launch tiebreaker situations to decide the final playoff team.
