The Crushers come into the game 26-3 and on a 14-game winning streak. They had little trouble in the semifinals as they beat top-seeded Baldwin-Woodville 62-29. It was a dominating performance for the Crushers as they outscored Baldwin-Woodville 39-15 in the first half and did much of the same in the second half to advance to the state championship game. The Crushers had nine different players score and Anna Miller was the only one in double figures with a team-high 17 points.

The Hawks had a much tougher time in their semifinal as they barely got by Kettle Moraine Lutheran 56-52.
They were down for most of the game as the Hawks trailed for 29:28 of the contest and only led for 2:10, but they had the lead when it mattered most and got the win.
The Hawks trailed by as many as 13 points in the second half, but came all the way back as they were led by Elle Krull who scored 20 points and Molly Martine who added 14 points. The team needed all of their points to get the big win.
