Neenah (21-7) is back at the Wisconsin state tournament again, making its third straight appearance and its record 30th overall. The Rockets, the No. 4 seed, will take on top-seeded Arrowhead (25-2) on Friday night in a Division 1 semifinal matchup at the Kohl Center in Madison. Neenah, which won the state title in 2022, took the Cinderella route to state as the No. 6 seed in its sectional. The Warhawks were the second seed in their sectional tournament, with both teams knocking off the top seeds to get to Madison. Arrowhead comes in with 11 consecutive victories while the Rockets are 13-0 since beginning the season 8-7.

In Saturday's sectional final in Stevens Point, Neenah's Brady Corso scored 16 of Neenah's final 17 points as it knocked off top-seeded Marshfield 52-48 to return to the state tournament. Corso finished with 24 points while Charlie Wunderlich added 13.
Bennett Basich went off for 43 points on Saturday to power the Warhawks past No. 1 seeded and defending state champion De Pere 85-80 on Saturday in Oshkosh. Sam Leoni had 15 points in the win. Arrowhead took care of business after getting the lead, hitting 20-of-21 from the foul line in the second half to prevent the Redbirds from coming back.
The winner advances to Saturday's state championship game against the winner of the later semifinal between Marquette and Kettle Moraine.
