The 1st-place Chargers take on the 3rd-place Renegades for the 1st time this season in World Jai Alai League action on Monday night at the Magic City Jai Alai Court in Miami

The Chargers lead the World Jai Alai League with 42 points but have also already played a league-high nine of their 15 games on the Battle Court this season. On Monday night at the Magic City Jai Alai Court in Miami, the Chargers face the Renegades (30 points), who have eight games remaining entering play. It is the first meeting this season between the teams. The Renegades last played on March 8, beating the Cyclones 5.5-3.0 while the Chargers come off a 5-3 loss to the Warriors on Friday night. Doubles matches count for 1.5 points in the standings while singles play wins net one point.

Eight points are up for grabs on Monday with four doubles matches and a pair of singles duels. Doubles play starts the night when the Renegades' duo of Goixerri (Ekaitz Mendizabal) and Ben (Benlee Gadsden) takes on the tandem of Iturbide (David Iturbide) and Ubilla (Gorka Aldazabal) from the Chargers. 

Goenaga (Ion Goenaga) and Arta (Alain Urbistondo) are next up against Zulaika (Jon Zulaika) and Bradley (Les Bradley II). A third doubles match pitting Joseph (Saloney Joseph) and Aratz (Aratz Mendizabal) against El Barba (Dennis Dalton) and Benny (Benjamin Langhans) precedes the first singles battle of the night between Arta (Alain Urbistondo) and Ubilla. 

Goenaga and Ben team up to face Iturbide and Bradley before the final match of the night between Goixerri and Zulaika.
