On Monday night, Investigative Discovery will premiere the second part to the all-new docuseries which gives viewers an inside look at what came with the territory of working on a children's television show. In the 1990s, Dan Schneider emerged at Nickelodeon as a new writer who brought laughter and mentorship to kids TV. He championed young talent like Amanda Bynes, but behind the scenes, some female writers faced a toxic and sexist environment. Many well-known child actors have fallen from grace over the years due to mental health issues developed from working on these popular shows, but what about the individuals who were behind the cameras?

The second episode titled "Too Close to the Sun" will give a first-hand account from one of the actors who works on one of Schneider's shows. Drake Bell from Drake and Josh and The Amanda Show. In the first episode he shared that he survived abuse, sexual and physical, at the hands of his acting coach, who was convicted for Lewd Acts of a Child in 2003. On Monday night, the documentary reveals how the conviction did not keep the coach away from kids TV. The second episode also shows how Dan Schneider's power continued to grow until it reached a boiling point.

Tune in Monday night for the second installment of this short docuseries that sheds some light on why these young stars have struggled so much in their adult lives.
