Mike Trout and the Los Angeles Angels take on the Cleveland Guardians in MLB spring training today.

The Cleveland Guardians (4-8) are building some momentum in spring training with two straight wins heading into today. They take on the Los Angeles Angels (9-6) in the Cactus League who have won seven of the last 10 games and are coming off a win. Both teams are playing well heading into this spring training game and building solid momentum heading into the regular season. Los Angeles still has former MVP Mike Trout on the roster, but are preparing to start the regular season for the first time since 2017 without its other MVP, Shohei Ohtani. On the mound today for Los Angeles is left-handed veteran Tyler Anderson (0-1) who has played in two games so far in spring training with seven strikeouts in 5.0 innings pitched.

Cleveland has Logan Allen on the mound in his second start of spring training.

One of the young talents that Los Angeles is looking to build around is first baseman Nolan Schanuel. He is the 95th-ranked recruit in the Top 100, the only young talent on the roster to try and build around Trout and the rest of the veteran group from last season.

Cleveland has four players in the Top 100 led by 31st-ranked Chase DeLauter in the outfield. The other top-ranked players on Cleveland to watch out for include 59th-ranked Kyle Manzardo, 91st-ranked Brayan Rocchio and 100th-ranked Daniel Espino who have all bounced between AA, AAA and the MLB since being drafted.
