How to Watch Braves at Yankees: Stream MLB Spring Training Live, TV Channel
If there was ever a good time for a five-game losing streak, spring training is it. The New York Yankees (5-9) dropped their fifth straight on Saturday and on Sunday will host the Atlanta Braves (7-6) at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. The Yankees learned on Saturday that utility infielder Oswald Peraza will open the season on the injured list and could miss up to eight weeks with a strained shoulder. Atlanta, meanwhile, reassigned veteran closer Ken Giles to its minor-league camp, ending his bid to make the big-league roster. Giles, who had 34 saves for the Houston Astros in 2017, is trying to get his injury-derailed career back on track.

New York lost to the Minnesota Twins 10-7 on Saturday, getting two-run homers from Austin Wells and Josh VanMeter in the effort. Left-hander Nestor Cortes surrendered six runs on nine hits while fanning six in 3.1 innings.
Right-hander Clarke Schmidt makes his third spring start on Sunday for the Yankees, having allowed one run through six innings of tune-up work so far. Right-hander AJ Smith-Shawver is next in line for Atlanta. In two starts in Florida, Smith-Shawver has struck out eight in 4.2 innings while allowing three runs and a pair of long balls.
