The Hawks sit in tenth place in the East with a 29-36 record this season. The Hawks have a 3.5-game lead over Brooklyn for the final play-in spot. Utah, on the other hand, is on the outside looking into the Western Conference playoff race with a 28-37 record. Last month, the Hawks cruised to a 124-97 victory over the Jazz in Atlanta.

Most recently, the Hawks fell on the road in Portland in a 106-102 loss to the Trail Blazers on Wednesday night. Dejounte Murray scored 40 points in the loss, one shy of his season high. Portland young star Anfernee Simons led the way with 36 points.

As for Utah, the Jazz fell to the Eastern Conference-leading Celtics in a 123-107 loss on Tuesday night. Boston star Jayson Tatum scored 38 points in the win for the Celtics, while Keyonte Geroge scored a team-high 26 points for the Jazz.
