How to Watch the Houston Texans Online All Season Long
The Texans are in a transitionary period between the Deshaun Watson era and a new era. After trading their former star amidst a collection of sexual assault allegations, the team drafted Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud in the first round this year, replacing last year's starting quarterback, Davis Mills. The former Stanford product gave it his all in two seasons, but has now been relegated to a backup role.

The Texans also have a new head coach this year, bringing in former Texans linebacker DeMeco Ryans to take over. The 39-year-old Ryans comes over after spending two years as the defensive coordinator for the 49ers.
Ryans will try to rebuild a franchise that has some interesting pieces, but is light on star power. On defense, the team used a first-round pick on edge rusher Will Anderson Jr., who could be the future anchor of this defense. The team also added some veterans in free agency, bringing in Denzel Perryman, Steven Nelson and Jimmie Ward to bolster the defense.
On offense, Houston has a promising young running back, Dameon Pierce, and wide receiver, Nico Collins. They added wide receiver Robert Woods and tight end Dalton Schultz this offseason while also drafting center Juice Scruggs and wide receiver Tank Dell.
After three seasons in a row with four or fewer victories, can the Texans get this new era off to a strong start? And will Stroud be the answer at quarterback for a team that has long been searching for a franchise passer?
