Many wondered just how dynamic the Kansas City Chiefs would be on offense in 2023 after trading Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins the offseason prior. Well, the Chiefs answered those questions by being dynamic enough to win the third Super Bowl in franchise history last year thanks to the stellar play of superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the elite coaching of the head man in charge, Andy Reid. With the bulk of the Super Bowl-winning team returning in 2023 and the best quarterback in the league still under center, expectations will be sky-high for the Chiefs to win another championship this upcoming season.

Mahomes was simply spectacular in 2022, throwing for a league-leading 5,250 yards to go with 41 touchdowns, the highest total in the NFL last season, to just 12 interceptions with 67.1% accuracy overall. Those numbers rightfully earned Mahomes the second Associated Press MVP award of his career.

Leading the way for Chiefs' pass-catchers yet again in 2022 was All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, who is set to return in 2023 and will look to keep his status as the best tight end in football. Kelce caught 110 balls for 1,338 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.

Kansas City will have to replace their leading wide receiver from last season, however, as JuJu Smith-Schuster signed with the New England Patriots over the offseason. Smith-Schuster had 78 catches for 933 yards and three touchdowns for Kansas City last season.
