The Minnesota Vikings are coming off one of their best seasons in recent memory, with quarterback Kirk Cousins leading the team to a 13-4 record. The season ended with a loss in the Wild Card Round. Can the Vikings get to the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time since Brett Favre quarterbacked the team in 2010? And how will the team replace two key offensive players who moved elsewhere this offseason, running back Dalvin Cook and wide receiver Adam Thielen?

One way might just be to get the ball to Justin Jefferson even more than last year. Jefferson led the league in receptions, yards and yards per game in 2022, catching 128 passes for 1,809 yards. The former LSU product has quickly become the NFL's best wide receiver, recording at least 1,400 yards in all three of his NFL campaigns.

At running back, the team will turn to Alexander Mattison on a full-time basis. Mattison played well in the past when Cook was sidelined. The team also used a first-round pick on wideout Jordan Addison to help replace Thielen's production. Add in tight end T.J. Hockenson and this is a dangerous offense.

Defensively, the team has talented players like Danielle Hunter and Marcus Davenport at linebacker. The secondary boasts safety Harrison Smith as well as rookie third-round pick Mekhi Blackmon.
