This year, the first round of the NFL draft should be more exciting than ever, with so many questions out there and no clear-cut future superstar available. No matter who goes first overall, questions will remain on whether or not they were the right pick, as all of these quarterbacks have some sort of holes in their games.
We haven't even talked about the non-quarterbacks yet, as there is a bevy of elite defenders out there ready for the taking who will surely make some teams very happy as their counterparts go quarterback-crazy in the first round.
Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson and Georgia interior defensive lineman Jalen Carter are two prime examples of that, two players who should go top five and could have long, disruptive careers ahead of them.
Regardless, the NFL draft is always fascinating and exciting to watch unfold, and this year will surely be no different, as surprises and intrigue will surround the event as teams announce their picks.
