After suffering their first loss of March, the Dallas Stars return home to the American Airlines Center tonight looking to maintain their position atop the Central Division as they go for the season sweep of the New Jersey Devils. The road team has won each of the last six games in this series with the last home win coming in December of 2019 when Dallas earned a shutout win over New Jersey. The Devils have struggled losing eight of their last 11 games and are currently six points behind the New York Islanders for the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Stars have scored a power-play goal in five straight games scoring eight times on 22 chances leading to four wins in that span.

Devils winger Jesper Bratt leads the team in goals and assists despite being held without a point in three consecutive games. Bratt is 10 points away from breaking his career-high of 73 points which he has posted each of his last two seasons.

Four of the last six games in this series have been decided by two or more goals with Dallas winning the first meeting this season 6-2 behind a pair of goals by Roope Hintz.
