Men’s World Cup: Spain vs. Germany
The World Cup couldn’t have gotten off to a more different start for these two European powers. Spain came out of the gates on fire with a 7–0 win over Costa Rica. Germany, however, relinquished a 1–0 lead to Japan, giving up two second-half goals in their opening loss.
