Providence Looks to Keep Big East Title Hopes Alive vs. UConn

Plus, don’t miss the USWNT in the SheBelieves Cup Final against Brazil.

The NBA returns tomorrow, but these loaded college basketball slates are making it easy to not miss The Association too much. Tonight, we’ve got more than 60 games on tap across Division I men’s hoops, including a top-20 showdown in the Big East and some key games with NCAA tournament implications. Plus, it’s a busy day in soccer with two more round-of-16 matches in the Champions League and the USWNT taking on Brazil at the SheBelieves Cup.

Here’s what I’m watching today.

Men’s CBB: No. 20 Providence at No. 18 UConn

We saw a thriller last night in the Big East between Creighton and Marquette and could get another in this rivalry matchup tonight. Providence’s slim hopes of repeating as conference champions hinge on winning this one, but it won’t be easy against a UConn team starting to find its stride again after losing six of eight early in league play. The Friars knocked off UConn in January behind 27 points from star forward Bryce Hopkins, and will need another big game from the Kentucky transfer to steal this one on the road.
