NBA Stretch Run Comes Into Full Focus
From early afternoon to late at night, the NBA will be plastered on our televisions, computers, tablets and phones today. Gearing up for the season’s stretch run, there are four huge matchups on national TV. Elsewhere in the sports world, No. 6 Iowa hosts No. 2 Indiana in a massive women’s basketball matchup, and Chelsea squares off with Tottenham in the Premier League.
Here’s what I’m watching today.
MUST WATCH:
Los Angeles Lakers at Dallas Mavericks
If either of these teams is going to make a leap up the standings, it’s going to have to start now. The Mavs, having added Kyrie Irving, can move up quickly by winning just a handful of games because of how tight the middle of the standings are. And the Lakers, having been busy themselves at the trade deadline, now have LeBron James back to climb into the playoff race.
